#TlalnepantlaDeBaz<\/strong>, #StateOfMexico<\/strong>.- This September 13th, Tlalnepantla commemorates the 77th anniversary of its establishment as a city, an emblematic date that honors the historical development of a town that has transformed itself over the years. Since its origins as a village, it has been the scene of processes of urban growth, industrialization, and social reorganization that have shaped its character and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the commemorative ceremony, led by the Mayor, Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz<\/strong>, and attended by the Chief Official of the Government of the State of Mexico, Trinidad Franco Arpero, it was recalled that this municipality was founded in 1554. \u201cThe history of Tlalnepantla is an inseparable part of the history of Mexico: witness and protagonist, cause and consequence,\u201d said the Mayor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also recalled that, decades ago, Tlalnepantla was known as the \u201cstable of the metropolis\u201d for its outstanding dairy production. In the mid-20th century, its economic profile changed radically as it became an industrial hub, driven by state policies of the so-called \u00abMexican miracle,\u00bb which favored sustained economic growth and the consolidation of urban development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 1950s and 1960s, the municipality was recognized as one of the most important industrial areas in the country. This boom brought with it strong internal migration, attracting workers from various rural regions, which increased population density and the formation of new communities, changing the social character of the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time, particularly in the 1990s, Tlalnepantla transitioned toward an economy based on commerce and services. Today, its streets reflect the vitality of a dynamic city, where ideas, labor, and capital converge. Human interaction has been key to consolidating its cultural, social, and economic wealth in a complex and diverse urban environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, more than 750,000 inhabitants reside in its 84 square kilometers, organized into 265 communities. Due to its strategic location, Tlalnepantla is a key connection between northeast Mexico City and the center of the country. The mayor emphasized that the current local government is distinguished by its progressive nature, in line with the new national leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
