#Cuautitl\u00e1nIzcalli<\/strong>,\u00a0#StateOfMexico<\/strong>.-\u00a0In an effort to promote job inclusion, the Cuautitl\u00e1n Izcalli Municipal DIF System has established the Job Training Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities (Arantza Center) as a benchmark for comprehensive training. This space not only prepares young people and adults for the world of work but also promotes their autonomy and personal development. The objective is clear: to open doors and generate opportunities in an environment of equity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cristina P\u00e9rez Cerda, head of the DIF’s Department of Inclusion for People with Disabilities, highlighted the achievements of the current administration. Thanks to strategic alliances with companies such as Sam’s Club, Mattel, Walmart, and Fraiche, six people have secured formal employment. Additionally, through various workshops, the Arantza Center promotes self-employment, allowing participants to generate their own income and strengthen their financial independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Arantza Center’s training model, aimed at people between 18 and 50 years of age, is an example of comprehensive care. It combines medical, occupational, and psychological evaluations with an academic program that includes subjects such as natural sciences, mathematics, Spanish, and literature. Students also participate in practical workshops in cooking, jewelry making, gardening, dance, and fabric painting, providing them with valuable skills for their daily and professional lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cuautitl\u00e1n Izcalli DIF goes beyond training and offers \u00abcounseling to people with disabilities whose rights have been violated.\u00bb Through guidance and referrals to various government agencies, the center works to ensure that the rights of this sector are recognized and respected. This work reaffirms the institution’s commitment to equal opportunities and the protection of the rights of people with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
