The gathering brought together federal authorities, the diplomatic corps, UN agencies, and rural producers to discuss global food security. Key figures such as the Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, Julio Berdegu\u00e9 Sacrist\u00e1n<\/strong>, and the Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights at the SRE, Enrique Ochoa<\/strong>, led the proceedings. Officials unanimously stressed the necessity of multilateralism<\/strong> and the pressing need to produce food in a just and resilient manner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It means how we build all the capacities a nation needs to guarantee the constitutional right to food in this country.\u00bb<\/strong> He emphasised that this involves more than mere production; it requires developing national \u00abscience, technology, and innovation capacities.\u00bb<\/strong> Meanwhile, Enrique Javier Ochoa<\/strong>, the Undersecretary, affirmed that food security<\/strong> is an international priority<\/strong>, demanding \u00aba firm commitment to invest in fair value chains\u00bb<\/strong> for producers and consumers. He further insisted that \u00abit is imperative that women and indigenous peoples… occupy a central place in decision-making\u00bb<\/strong> for creating more robust and adaptive food systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
