#SecretaryOf Economy<\/strong>,\u00a0#M\u00e9xico<\/strong>.-\u00a0In compliance with directives from President Claudia Sheinbaum<\/strong>, the Secretariat of Economy (SE) has established a crucial working group. This task force is dedicated to coordinating the mobilisation of resources and donations<\/strong> from the private sector to assist communities severely impacted by the recent torrential rainfall. The initiative underscores the immediate and concerted response<\/strong> from the government to mitigate the severe consequences of the adverse weather conditions witnessed across several states in recent days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The working group is charged with two immediate and essential mandates: first, to actively collaborate with state governments<\/strong> to precisely identify the specific and urgent needs<\/strong> of the affected population; and second, to coordinate with relevant chambers, private companies<\/strong>, and other key actors to ensure aid reaches those in need swiftly. This strategy was formalised following an earlier meeting where Secretary Marcelo Ebrard<\/strong> and Francisco Cervantes<\/strong>, President of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), agreed to work jointly to deliver assistance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the emergency phase, Secretary Ebrard<\/strong> confirmed his Secretariat will transition to designing economic revitalisation programmes<\/strong> for the damaged regions, a collaborative effort with both state governments and the private sector. The newly formed working group comprises the following officials: Coordination – Carlos Alfonso Candelaria L\u00f3pez<\/strong>; Veracruz – Fernando Jos\u00e9 Aboitiz Saro<\/strong> and Andrea Genoveva Solano Rend\u00f3n<\/strong>; Hidalgo – Soledad Guadalupe L\u00f3pez Acosta<\/strong>; Puebla – C\u00e9sar Garc\u00eda Mondrag\u00f3n<\/strong>; San Luis Potos\u00ed – Astrid Natividad Gonz\u00e1lez Degollado<\/strong>; Quer\u00e9taro – Marlon Mart\u00ednez P\u00e9rez<\/strong>; and the Investment Promotion Committee – Eugenio Guadalupe Govea Arcos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
