#Tec\u00e1mac, #Edom\u00e9x.-<\/strong>\u00a0 Attending the fifth anniversary celebration of the CECYT 19 \u00abLeona Vicario\u00bb<\/strong> facility, the Mayoress of Tec\u00e1mac, Rosi Wong Romero<\/strong>, formally acknowledged the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN)<\/strong> for establishing a presence in the municipality. She praised the Institute’s decision to open its doors to sow knowledge<\/strong> and vigorously promote the academic talents of local students in the region. The Mayoress highlighted that the facility represents a pivotal investment in the future, providing quality education as a cornerstone of the area’s educational, scientific, and technological growth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayoress Wong Romero<\/strong> recalled that five years ago, the space was merely an ambitious project, but today it stands as a fully realised institution, now integral to the territory’s progress. She stressed that the school’s facilities were constructed entirely with municipal resources<\/strong> thanks to the decisive foresight of the then-Mayoress. Speaking before the IPN’s Academic Director, Mar\u00eda Isabel Rojas Ruiz<\/strong>, the Mayoress noted that since 2019<\/strong>, the local government has operated with a steadfast and primary commitment to efficacy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abEfficacy so that, among other things, we can offer opportunities for success<\/strong> to our students, providing dignified and quality educational spaces for our young people,\u00bb Wong Romero<\/strong> firmly emphasised. Meanwhile, Ms Rojas Ruiz<\/strong>, who represented the Institute’s Director, Arturo Reyes<\/strong>, stated that the collaborative effort has significantly strengthened bonds of friendship<\/strong> with the local government. She added that the students now benefit from a dignified unit<\/strong> equipped with the best facilities, which has supported the substantial growth of the student community over the past five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms Rojas Ruiz<\/strong> further highlighted the historical significance of the centre, noting that it is the first IPN school<\/strong> to be named after a woman, \u00abLeona Vicario\u00bb<\/strong>. She then formally recognised Senator Guti\u00e9rrez’s vision<\/strong> in championing the establishment of the essential technical centre in Tec\u00e1mac. Following the ceremony, the Mayoress, Rosi Wong Romero<\/strong>, along with the educational authorities, proceeded to unveil a commemorative plaque to mark the important fifth anniversary<\/strong> of the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
