#EstadoDeGuerrero<\/strong>,\u00a0#M\u00e9xico<\/strong>.-\u00a0The Municipal Government, led by Mayor Abelina L\u00f3pez Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, has officially unveiled the schedule for the 18th ‘La Nao Acapulco 2025’ International Festival<\/strong>. Running from 9th to 15th November<\/strong>, the event serves as a cultural hub and a tribute to the legacy of the Manila Galleon trade route. The festival promises a diverse array of cultural activities<\/strong>, concerts, and art exhibitions, reinforcing Acapulco’s historical connection as a gateway between nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a presentation held in Mexico City at the Colegio de San Ildefonso<\/strong>, Minister of Welfare and Community Development, Flora Contreras Santos<\/strong>, extended an official invitation on the Mayor\u2019s behalf. She encouraged the public to attend the multicultural celebration, which this year will feature guest participation from Colombia<\/strong>, Chile<\/strong>, Hungary<\/strong>, and Togo<\/strong>. Contreras Santos<\/strong> emphasised: \u00abThe Municipal Government led by Abelina L\u00f3pez Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> invites you from 9th to 15th November<\/strong> not to miss this great International La Nao Acapulco 2025 Festival<\/strong>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Minister highlighted that the festival is a \u00abspace for cultural exchange\u00bb<\/strong> that strengthens the identity of \u00abour beautiful Acapulco\u00bb<\/strong> and forges stronger ties between participating nations and sister communities. The Ambassador of Hungary to Mexico, Zolt\u00e1n N\u00e9meth<\/strong>, expressed his gratitude for the invitation, saying it was \u00aba great honour, a great pleasure for us to be able to participate\u00bb<\/strong>. Lumi Dehesa Orozco<\/strong>, widow of the Hungarian sculptor Pal Kepenyes<\/strong> who will be honoured at this edition, also encouraged attendance, stating that \u00abAcapulco has the most beautiful bay in the world<\/strong>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christopher Brito Salgado<\/strong>, Director of Culture for Acapulco, presented the official lineup, noting the festival will feature over 50 cultural activities<\/strong>. These include the opening concert by Colombian singer Charlie Zaa<\/strong> and a closing performance by Mexican artist Edith M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>, alongside artistic showcases from the visiting countries. The organising committee’s Rodrigo Reyes Mart\u00ednez<\/strong> confirmed the event will take place across six itinerant venues, including the Fuerte de San Diego<\/strong> and the Z\u00f3calo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
