#SanMiguelDeAllende<\/strong>,\u00a0#Guanajuato<\/strong>.- Under the slogan, \u00abWalk, Run, or Jog, But Get Active<\/strong>,\u00bb students, teachers, and members of the public enthusiastically participated in the third annual \u00abCorre por Guanajuato 2025\u00bb<\/strong> Athletic Race. The early morning atmosphere at the CECyTE Guanajuato<\/strong> campus in San Miguel de Allende<\/strong> buzzed with energy, music, and smiles, a success made possible by the comprehensive security operation led by Mayor Mauricio Trejo Pureco<\/strong>‘s municipal government. This sporting fixture successfully brought together entire families, students, teachers, and local runners for a joyous, healthy community event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition offered two distinct distances to suit all fitness levels: a 7-kilometre route<\/strong> for the free, masters, veterans, and student categories, and a shorter 3-kilometre course<\/strong> designed for young people, students, and those who opted to walk or jog. The organising committee from CECyTE Guanajuato<\/strong>, working closely with Civil Protection, the Red Cross, and Municipal Traffic authorities, meticulously ensured road safety<\/strong>, adequate competitor hydration, and smooth coordination. The entire event proceeded in a peaceful, cheerful, and family-friendly manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The demanding 7-kilometre circuit challenged runners along a route that started at the CECyTE<\/strong> campus and advanced along the San Miguel\u2013Dolores highway, Calzada de la Aurora, Avenida Guadalupe, and Calzada de la Estaci\u00f3n. Competitors completed the loop by circling the Ventanas roundabout before heading back to the starting point. This diverse and scenic route allowed participants to experience some of the town\u2019s key thoroughfares while completing their athletic challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon the successful conclusion of the race, a prize purse of 18 thousand pesos<\/strong> was distributed among the first-place winners across all categories, recognising their athletic achievements and competitive spirit. The event not only promoted fitness and community cohesion but also underlined the importance of municipal support for public health<\/strong> initiatives. The turnout confirmed the race\u2019s growing significance in the local sporting calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
