As announced, the construction of the Mexico City-AIFA section is <strong>set to conclude this year<\/strong>, paving the way for the essential testing phase prior to its official operation. Concurrently, the passenger train extension connecting the AIFA to Pachuca is showing <strong>significant progress<\/strong>, currently standing at a <strong>9.3 per cent completion rate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a site visit, the Head of the Federal Executive emphasised the successful timeline, stating: \u201cThe Mexico City-<strong>Felipe \u00c1ngeles<\/strong> International Airport train is now finishing its construction, its civil and electromechanical work, this year and the <strong>testing period is being done<\/strong> so that it can be functional.\u201d She further commended the teams responsible, highlighting their valuable contribution and noting that it is <strong>\u201ca source of pride for our country\u201d<\/strong> to have the <strong>capability and good work<\/strong> of the <strong>Felipe \u00c1ngeles<\/strong> Engineers Group military personnel. The President stressed that even with the need for assistance in national emergencies, <strong>\u201cwork on the strategic projects we have set out is not ceasing.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>General Gustavo Ricardo Vallejo Su\u00e1rez<\/strong>, Commander of the <strong>Felipe \u00c1ngeles<\/strong> Engineers Group, provided an operational update, detailing the deployment across the <strong>five construction fronts<\/strong> of the project, which ensures <strong>development without setbacks<\/strong>. The military engineering team is <strong>steadily advancing<\/strong> with the construction of boxes, the lowering of materials, the exploitation of quarries, and the laying of tracks. This extensive activity aims to finalise a rail line that will not only connect Mexico City to the AIFA but will also provide a <strong>direct link to Pachuca<\/strong>, the capital of Hidalgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, <strong>Andr\u00e9s Lajous Loaeza<\/strong>, head of the Rail Transport Regulatory Agency, elaborated on the <strong>social and logistical benefits<\/strong> of the project, which is designed to meet an estimated <strong>daily demand of 107,000 passengers<\/strong>.
