These actions are part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with international aviation standards while maintaining smooth domestic and international operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transport (SICT)<\/strong> also reported on directives issued by the <strong>United States Department of Transportation (DOT)<\/strong>. The first directive mandates the suspension of <strong>two active routes<\/strong> from <strong>Felipe \u00c1ngeles International Airport (AIFA)<\/strong>, effective from <strong>7 November<\/strong>, alongside the cancellation of <strong>11 planned routes<\/strong> from <strong>AIFA<\/strong> and <strong>Benito Ju\u00e1rez International Airport (AICM)<\/strong> to the United States, effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The executive order further prohibits requests for <strong>new routes<\/strong> or <strong>increased flight frequencies<\/strong> from <strong>AIFA<\/strong> or <strong>AICM<\/strong> to the United States until further notice.
