#Atizap\u00e1nDeZaragoza<\/strong>,\u00a0#StateOfMexico<\/strong>.-\u00a0The Government of Atizap\u00e1n de Zaragoza<\/strong>, led by Municipal President Pedro Rodr\u00edguez Villegas<\/strong>, has successfully implemented a robust and precise security strategy<\/strong>, placing citizens\u2019 peace of mind<\/strong> at the centre of its actions. To achieve this, the Directorate of Public Security and Traffic<\/strong> has undergone a profound process of renewal and strengthening<\/strong>, aiming to enhance the professionalism<\/strong> of the service provided to every Atizap\u00e1n resident<\/strong>. This vision of effective and timely public service<\/strong> forms the foundation for the municipal force\u2019s fundamental transformation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the unveiling of his book (Public Security with Intelligence-Based Strategies)<\/strong>, the Navy Lieutenant and Director of Public Security and Traffic, Fabi\u00e1n Ricardo G\u00f3mez Calc\u00e1neo<\/strong>, highlighted the three key pillars of his administration<\/strong>. He stressed that the Mayor\u2019s political will<\/strong>, the professionalisation of officers<\/strong>, and the dignification of the police<\/strong> are essential to success. He asserted, (\u201cthe policeman is not an animal; he is a human being with a family and needs; we must remember that the policeman also wants to be with his family\u201d)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commissioner G\u00f3mez Calc\u00e1neo<\/strong> was adamant that the reconstruction of police forces<\/strong>, historically associated with corruption, is entirely achievable<\/strong>. He explained that his book is intended as a tool to drive the transformation of public security<\/strong>, emphasising the importance of the Navy\u2019s values<\/strong>. He celebrated, (\u201cthis has been my work, and I am delighted that the values of the Mexican Navy \u2013 honour, duty, loyalty, and patriotism \u2013 are reflected in this strategy\u201d)<\/strong>. He added with conviction, (\u201cI am convinced that a city can be changed through its localities\u201d)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this regard, Mayor Pedro Rodr\u00edguez Villegas<\/strong> clarified that the changes have been significant<\/strong>, detailing the dismissal of (\u201cmore than 600 officers from the corporation, out of a total of 1,346 agents\u201d)<\/strong> who failed to adapt to the new approach. He underlined that only those committed to the vision of a new police force have remained<\/strong>. He expressed, (\u201cwe have transformed the mindset, and today, I celebrate their work with great pride. I am very proud of each and every one of them, because we are a committed team\u201d)<\/strong>, before the staff and attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book presentation ceremony<\/strong> became an act of recognition<\/strong> for the efforts and tangible results achieved in public security<\/strong>. Several political figures, including Senator Enrique Vargas<\/strong>, Congresswoman Ivonne Ortega<\/strong>, and Local Deputy Mariano Camacho San Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, joined Mayor Pedro Rodr\u00edguez Villegas<\/strong> in publicly acknowledging Commissioner Fabi\u00e1n Ricardo G\u00f3mez Calc\u00e1neo<\/strong>. His strategy based on intelligence and the humanisation of policing<\/strong> has been hailed as a successful model in the region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
