#Naucalpan<\/strong>,\u00a0#StateOfMexico<\/strong>.-\u00a0The Mayor, Isaac Montoya M\u00e1rquez<\/strong>, inspected the considerable progress on the retaining wall<\/strong> being constructed on Calle Uno in the Ol\u00edmpica Radio 2a. Secci\u00f3n, a vital project<\/strong>. This intervention addresses damage caused by previous rains and the 2018 earthquake, which affected homes and vehicles, a situation worsened by years of \u201cindifference\u201d<\/strong> from previous local authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mayor<\/strong> informed residents that the Directorate of Public Works<\/strong> has achieved a forty per cent advance<\/strong> on the wall\u2019s construction, noting that this is a crucial preventive measure<\/strong>. This strategic engineering work will safeguard the lives of residents, their homes and their assets, providing much-needed protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He detailed the ambitious scale of the project, which covers a total surface area of 2,030 square metres<\/strong>, requiring 66 tonnes of steel<\/strong> and 629 cubic metres of concrete<\/strong>. It also incorporates 3,160 cubic metres of infill<\/strong>, structured across six sections<\/strong> and a seventy-metre-long counter-wall<\/strong> to ensure maximum stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This essential infrastructure work will strengthen the soil and stabilise the terrain, significantly reducing the risks associated with future landslides or severe erosion. The Mayor<\/strong> stressed that addressing this long-standing hazard is a key priority for the current administration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Montoya M\u00e1rquez<\/strong> reaffirmed his commitment, stating: \u201cNobody is going to be left out, nobody is going to be left behind, it is our conviction and our principles.\u201d<\/strong> He also assured residents that they would deliver a \u201cdefinitive solution to this landslide demand\u201d<\/strong>, reflecting his personal awareness of the issue long before assuming public office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The local delegate, J. Carmen Ru\u00edz Ch\u00e1vez<\/strong>, thanked the Mayor for responding to this historic demand that previous administrations had neglected. The Mayor<\/strong> concluded his visit by affirming that seeing the residents\u2019 faces is what motivates his work to achieve the \u201ctransformation of the deeper Naucalpan.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
