Adolfo L\u00f3pez Mateos\u201d<\/strong>, part of the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (<strong>ISSSTE<\/strong>), has marked a significant milestone in Mexican public healthcare, celebrating its 55th anniversary with a powerful endorsement of its public service ethos. General Director, <strong>Mart\u00ed Batres Guadarrama<\/strong>, used the ceremony to declare the <strong>\u201csuperiority of public services\u201d<\/strong>, highlighting the hospital\u2019s strengthened offering, which now includes a state-of-the-art <strong>Robotic Surgery Centre<\/strong>, a new dermatological phototherapy unit, and critical electrical infrastructure upgrades in the main building\u2019s basement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mr. Batres Guadarrama<\/strong> stressed that the hospital&#8217;s daily, high-level function reaffirms the State&#8217;s moral obligation to continuously improve its medical institutions, stating: \u201cThis hospital, with its routine operation and its highest-level capacity, demonstrates the superiority of public provision, and the best must always be public because it is for everyone.\u201d He also issued a crucial mandate to the staff, urging them to capitalise on the enhanced infrastructure to expand services and ensure a more dignified patient experience: \u00abIt is necessary to have more medical units, more operating theatres, more doctors and nurses&#8230; to have more consultations, more surgeries, and to accompany this elevation of numbers with something very important, which is <strong>dignified treatment<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the commemorative event, held in the hospital\u2019s \u201cDr. Fernando Prieto L\u00f3pez\u201d auditorium, <strong>Mr. Batres<\/strong> presented 24 formal commendations to nursing, administrative, and resident personnel who had served as brigade members, offering vital support to residents affected by the intense rainfall recorded in October.
