ISSSTE expands portal and ASISSSTECOVID Line services to 168 medical units

#ISSSTE. – After two days of operation of the issste.gob.mx/asissstecovid portal and the Asissstecovid Line, emergency services to expedite pandemic care and reduce chains of contagion, coverage was expanded from 90 to 168 medical units in 25 states of the country, informed the Director General of the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (Issste), Pedro Zenteno Santaella.

He pointed out that reports from the Sub-Directorate of Information Technology show that as of 9:00 p.m. on January 19, the Asissstecovid Line reached 5,060 calls attended; 2,791 appointments were scheduled at the Respiratory Clinic to process the COVID-19 medical license and 2,263 people were given guidance for this procedure.

In addition, the options for preventive recommendations on COVID-19 and guidance in the event of suspicion of suffering from this disease remain open on the Asissstecovid line.
