Education authorities from Guanajuato and Nuevo León share successful practices

#EstadoDeGuanajuato.- In order to learn about the experience of educational collaboration models in the state of Nuevo León, a delegation of businessmen and educational authorities from Guanajuato, headed by Jorge Enrique Hernández, Secretary of Education of Guanajuato, met with Sofialeticia Morales Garza, Secretary of Education of Nuevo León, and businessmen from the north of the country.

The Guanajuato delegation included, in addition to the Secretary of Education, Benjamín Zermeño and Mónika Pérez Dorsey from Comunidad Empresarial; the Undersecretary of Basic Education, José de Jesús Gonzalo García Pérez and the Director of the Mentefactura and Special Projects Unit, Juan Manuel Campos Ornelas.

Also in attendance were Rosa Wolpert, Senior Officer of UNESCO; Silvia Ojeda, Education Manager of Instituto Natura Hispana; Carmen Garza T, Fundación Comunidar; Alison Villagrana, Coordinator of Learning Communities Nuevo León and Armando Estrada, Director of Vía Educación.

During the working day, Sofialeticia Morales Garza, presented the activity of Learning Communities, a project promoted by the organization Vía Educación, an international organization dedicated to the auditing of social projects.
