#Veracruz, #Ver.- During the earthquake that occurred in the Veracruz-Boca del Río metropolitan area, the security protocols of the Universidad Veracruzana in the Veracruz Region were activated.

The alarms of the University System of Integral Risk Management (SUGIR) alerted the academic and administrative staff as well as students, who orderly evacuated buildings and gathered at the meeting points.

The evacuation plan, which had been previously practiced in drills organized by SUGIR-trained brigadistas, was successfully carried out to the safe zones.
