«100% hotel occupancy and restaurants full for long weekend vacation»: Mayor Patricia Lobeira

#Veracruz, #Ver.- Mayor Patricia Lobeira Rodriguez reported that this long weekend hotel occupancy reached 100 percent and, likewise, restaurants were full -within the limits allowed by health authorities due to the epidemiological traffic light for Covid-19-, which represented an increase of about 60 percent in sales.

She said that both tourists and Veracruz citizens were able to enjoy a joyful and uneventful long weekend. «They enjoyed the attractions of Veracruz, its hotel and gastronomic offer; but also our music, culture and history through the different activities that we made available to them in different parts of the city.»

In addition, he commented that the beaches were full, being guarded by elements of Civil Protection, as well as Transit and Municipal Police guarded the areas.

She reiterated that every day, together with the federal and state forces, we work to maintain order and guarantee a safe environment for everyone, in a permanent effort.
