«We will strongly promote our history, music and tradition»: Mayor Patricia Lobeira

#Veracruz, #Ver.– As part of the «Tus ideas x Veracruz» forums on «Culture and Society», Mayor Patricia Lobeira Rodriguez toured the museums, alleys and small squares of the Historic Center of Veracruz, to hear the opinions of the people who work every day to give life to the city, who fill it with harmony and folklore.

On her walk she talked with the danzón musicians, the jaraneros, decimeros and marimba players, who fill the Zócalo with joy, as well as the people and tourists who participate in the workshops and recreational activities offered there, such as painting, lute making and chess.

«I am convinced that the true potential of Veracruz lies in its people, we are cheerful, generous, hard-working, supportive and creative people,» she said.

She stressed that Veracruz is history, but it is the joy of the people of Veracruz that makes tourists fall in love and come back. «For this reason, we will make sure that in our port, our home, there is never a lack of dancing, smiles and music,» she added.
