Mayor Patricia Lobeira de Yunes reopens Miguel Ángel de Quevedo Zoo

#Veracruz, #Ver.- Mayor Patricia Lobeira de Yunes reopened the «Miguel Ángel de Quevedo» (Viveros) Zoo, so that tourists and locals alike can visit it during this Easter holiday period.

In a tour of its facilities, the mayor said that this place is added to the list of attractions offered in the city to visitors.

She informed that the zoo has around 278 animals and they intend to increase the number; among the different species there are monkeys, crocodiles, a tigress, llamas, raccoons, deer, a toucan, macaws, peacocks, turtles, among others.

«We are very happy with this zoo; in this first stage we did general maintenance so that tourists can come and enjoy this beautiful area, and later on, after the vacations are over, we will rehabilitate the viewpoint and the lagoon,» she said.
