Mayor JM Unánue presents the program «A pedir de Boca»

#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- To encourage local consumption, Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal presented the «A Pedir de Boca» program, an innovative municipal project that is already supporting micro, small and medium-sized businesses linked to the gastronomic sector, so that they can access digital tools to expand their markets and thereby increase the sale of their products and the protection of their jobs.

The Mayor informed that this program started in January, and in these three months of implementation of the first stage, it has directly benefited 200 businesses, which in turn translates into the support and protection of nearly 2 thousand jobs.

He said that the goal is to reach 700 businesses by the end of the year to strengthen during this 2022, the employment on which hundreds of families depend and that thanks to their work, continue to position Boca del Rio as a gastronomic reference within and outside the state.

«We want to add value to these local businesses, which have a great sense of belonging in various neighborhoods and subdivisions of the city, increasing their sales with a strategy that strengthens their products on digital platforms that, today, are an indispensable tool to reach more consumers,» said the mayor.
