Public cleaning and garbage collection service is guaranteed: Paty Lobeira de Yunes

#Veracruz, #Ver.- In an interview, prior to a tour of the beaches of Veracruz, Mayor Paty Lobeira de Yunes said about the demonstration made by some workers of the public cleaning union that the city council informed them since last Friday that their services would not be required on holidays or Sundays.

«We highly value the work and effort of each worker of the public cleaning union, but also as an authority we have the obligation to take care of the finances of the municipality and the interests of the people of Veracruz, that is why we had to make this decision.»

He explained that if on holidays and Sundays the public cleaning work is done through the union, this would cost the city council more than 23 million pesos, while if it is done with trusted workers it only costs a third part.
