#EstadoDeNuevoLeón. – After highlighting the participation of the people of Nuevo León in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda pointed out that the tenacity and courage shown by these citizens are the basis for new political and social strategies.

He added that the character of the Neolonians Mariano Escobedo and Modesto Arreola, who accompanied General Ignacio Zaragoza in the heroic deed, are the example to follow for the solution of current problems.

«Characters like them inspire us because they represent the essence of what Nuevo León is, brave, courageous, willing to give everything for their state and their country,» said the state governor.

«Wars have taught us that they will never be a solution for anything, that the only solution is dialogue, the construction of agreements is peace, that is why today, when the world is facing wars again, we must remember that respect for the sovereignty of each nation and people is what must prevail».
