Governor of Querétaro reaffirms his commitment to the health sector

#EstadoDeQuerétaro.- As part of International Nurses’ Day and the commemoration of Mother’s Day, the state governor, Mauricio Kuri Gonzalez, announced that high-risk compensation will be provided to all nursing personnel and general practitioners in hospitals under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health.

«This compensation consists of an economic support of up to 20 percent of their base salary, and will benefit approximately 1,200 workers in this sector,» he said.

Mr. Kuri Gonzalez thanked the vocation of service and commitment of the personnel of the Ministry of Health (SESEQ), of which more than 58 percent are women, mostly mothers, who, he said, share the same objective: to preserve the wellbeing and life of the citizens. He also acknowledged that there are areas of opportunity in this sector, which is why the current administration is working tirelessly to provide them with the necessary tools so that they can carry out their activities with warmth and promptness.
