In Tecámac, first Covid-19 vaccination day for children between 12 and 13 years of age concludes

#Tecámac, #EstadoDeMéxico. – The application of the vaccine against Covid-19 in children under 12 and 13 years old was successfully concluded, in this first day 6 thousand adolescents were inoculated.

The health director of the DIF system of Tecámac, Jorge Murguía Rangel, reported that the vaccination site had a capacity to immunize about 10 thousand people; within the recommendations he made to young people and parents is that minors come with breakfast, and that they carry the mivacuna.salud.gob.mx form printed, as well as official documents proving their age and address.

«We have all the safety and precautionary measures with the biological vaccine, in addition to the care we give here to each patient, we ask parents to be attentive to the indications we are giving,» he said.

The doctor explained that on this occasion the third dose or booster was also applied to children between 13 and 15 years of age who suffer from some comorbidity, who must bring their vaccination certificate and medical proof that they are a population at risk. In addition, children under 14 and 15 years of age who could prove that they had not been previously vaccinated were immunized.

The Pfizer biologic was applied from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This module provided hybrid service (vehicular and pedestrian).

Personnel from the DIF system of Tecámac, the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena), and the Health Institute of the State of Mexico (ISEM) assisted the minors who were vaccinated against Covid-19 for the first time. The adolescents had to be accompanied by an adult.
