To safeguard the integrity of women in Tecámac, CONAFE will be a Purple Point

#Tecámac, #EstadoDeMéxico. – During the closing of activities of community education for the welfare of early education, it was announced that the facilities of the National Commission for the Promotion of Education (#CONAFE) in the Tecámac subsede, will be enabled as a Violet Point to support women in the area who suffer some kind of violence.

In the framework of the closing of the operational cycle of CONAFE’s initial education, Berenice Olmos Sanchez; head of educational programs of the agency, stressed that this adds to the initiative of the municipal president of Tecámac, Mariela Gutierrez Escalante, that all government facilities are designated as Violet Points, to safeguard the integrity of women in case of an aggression.

The mayoress informed that in the first instance, support will be provided to the 120 mothers who come to this space, but also to the women of the surrounding communities, who require professional help in case of aggression.

«This ‘Punto Violenta’ is staffed by people trained and specialized to assist abused and mistreated women,» said #MarielaGutiérrezescalante.

In the coming months, 231 schools in Tecámac will benefit from the federal program «La Escuela es Nuestra» (The School is Ours), improving the facilities of the municipality’s educational centers.
