Carlos Velázquez Tiscareño, New Head in charge of AICM

#SecretaríaDeInfraestructuraComunicacionesYTransporte.- On instructions from the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation, Civil Engineer Jorge Arganis Díaz-Leal, presented Vice Admiral Carlos Ignacio Velázquez Tiscareño, who was appointed as the new General Director of Mexico City’s International Airport (AICM).

The retired Vice Admiral replaces Carlos Alfonso Moran Moguel at the head of the AICM. As of this date, the respective handover process of the organization begins.

He received his academic training at the Heróica Escuela Naval Militar, from where he graduated as a Midshipman, Naval Mechanical Engineer and Geographical Engineer. Subsequently, he studied at the Naval Aviation School, graduating as a Fixed Wing Naval Aviator Pilot.

At the Center for Higher Naval Studies (CESNAV) he completed several postgraduate courses, among them, the Naval Command course, the Masters in Naval Administration and in Planning and National Security.
