#GobiernoDeMéxico.- On his last day of his tour of Nayarit, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador informed that this state is being comprehensively addressed in terms of infrastructure, energy, education and welfare.

Through a message on his social networks, the president announced that work is being done to conclude the Guadalajara-Vallarta-Tepic highway and roads and bridges are being paved in the mountains of La Yesca and El Nayar.

The Tepic airport is being expanded and a market for indigenous popular arts and a naval zone with a public beach, hotel and pier will be built in Boca de Chila.

The Chief Executive stated that the port of San Blas is being rehabilitated and work is underway to conclude the Muros de Agua historical and ecological recreational center in the Islas Marías.

He also stated that the federal government gives preferential attention to indigenous communities and has already started the program to guarantee the universal right to free and quality health care. An indigenous university is operating in Guadalupe Ocotán.

The President affirmed that the Welfare Programs will continue to benefit 263,936 senior citizens, students, children with disabilities, farmers and fishermen
