Tecámac carries out a clean-up after the rainy season; it seeks to prevent the generation of mosquitoes and other insects

#Tecámac, #EstadoDeMéxico.- The Municipality of Tecámac carries out collection days of bulky objects and garbage collection, as part of the actions for Tecámac residents to get rid of old furniture and unusable household goods, in order to avoid the generation of mosquitoes and other disease-transmitting insects during the rainy season.

Crews of the Municipal Collection Service, belonging to the Department of Ecology, began the tours in Héroes Tecámac, sixth section, and in the coming days will do so in other parts of the municipality.

All this service is free of charge and follows the guidelines of the Municipal President, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, who since her arrival to the Municipal Government has strived to provide the best service to the people of Tecámac.

The mayoress recommended neighbors to place their unusable belongings outside their homes to facilitate this task, whose service is totally free of charge. Among the objects that are collected are unused furniture, old living rooms, kitchen utensils and old tires, which are places where mosquitoes and other insects take refuge during the rainy season.
