#Veracruz, #Ver.-At a press conference, Mayoress Patricia Lobeira de Yunes, announced the 3 and 5 K race «Veracruz runs for them 2022″, which will be held in October, in the framework of the «International Day of the Fight against Breast Cancer».

The mayoress said that it is a race with a cause, organized by the City of Veracruz, and self-financing, which will allow the amount of the proceeds to be donated to the MUAC and Grupo Reto Foundations.

She said that these foundations do a great job giving diffusion of the actions that should be taken to have an early detection, as well as a healthy way of life with physical activity; in addition, they provide free of charge an invaluable integral support to women going through this disease. «Many times Grupo Reto and Grupo MUAC, make a difference in the lives of these women,» she said.

The mayoress informed that «Veracruz corre por ellas 2022» is a mixed race, with 2 categories of 3 and 5 kilometers, which will take place on Sunday, October 16 at 8:00 a.m., leaving from the Plaza de la Marina Mercante, where a participation of at least 500 runners is expected
