#Edoméx.- The Secretary of Labor, Maribel Góngora Espinosa, led the installation of the qualifying jury for the State of Mexico 2022 Award, in the category of «Fidel Velázquez Sánchez», the highest recognition granted in the state to individuals or companies that, individually or collectively, deserve it for their conduct, acts or works.

During the session, it was announced that the award will be given to people who, due to their organizational capacity or their efficient dedication to their daily work, improve the productivity of the place where they work or are an example for other workers.

The jury was composed of Maribel Góngora Espinosa, Secretary of Labor, Pablo Peralta García, Secretary of Economic Development, and Leticia Mejía García, Secretary of Agriculture.

They were complemented by Juan Carlos Garduño Gómez, Head of the Federal Labor Representation Office in Mexico, Central Zone, based in Toluca, Norma Patricia García Flores, General Secretary of the Toluca Region Workers Federation, Mayela Trueba Hernández, Political Action Secretary of the Regional Mexican Workers Confederation (CROM) in the State of Mexico, and Óscar Moreno Moreno, General Secretary of the Confederation of Workers, Peasants and Employees of Mexico (COCEM).

Among the functions of the qualifying jury are to formulate and disseminate the call for nominations, receive proposals, register nominations and prepare the corresponding report.
