#Veracruz, #Ver.- At the invitation of Mr. Sergio de la Maza Jiménez, CEO of Tenaris-Tamsa, Mayor Patricia Lobeira de Yunes visited the plant and toured its facilities.

The Mayoress acknowledged that this company has contributed in a very important way, over the years, in the economic development of the Port of Veracruz, being the largest industrial center in the world in the manufacture of steel pipes and generating more than 5 thousand jobs for Veracruz citizens.

«We will continue working with Tenaris-TAMSA, establishing the ideal conditions that make possible their constant development so that they continue generating more and better jobs for Veracruz citizens,» he said.

Tenaris-TAMSA maintains an annual production capacity of 1,230,000 tons and exports 80% of its production to more than 50 countries by maintaining the highest quality standards.

Mayoress Patricia Lobeira de Yunes highlighted the importance of strengthening these communication ties and maintaining an institutional relationship between the City of Veracruz and Tenaris-Tamsa, a company consolidated as one of the most important in the country.
