#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The «Water Fair» was held in the community of Lomas de Tecámac by the Decentralized Public Organization for the Provision of Drinking Water, Sewerage and Sanitation Services (ODAPAS) in order to teach children from Tecámac the importance of taking care of the vital liquid.

The program is carried out in different schools in the municipality, where children are taught how to protect this non-renewable natural resource through workshops, films and pamphlets.

Tecámac is one of the municipalities in the country that filters more rainwater to the subsoil through absorption wells, and has a program of treatment plants, which allow its reuse mainly in the irrigation of green areas of the municipality including the Sierra Hermosa Ecological and Sports Park.

The municipal president, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, emphasized the importance of taking care of the vital liquid in the municipality to avoid supply problems. She also pointed out that in the last four years Tecámac has strengthened its water and sanitary infrastructure.
