Baja California Government and Federation sign agreement to provide new homes for victims of the earthquake / @MarinadelPilar @BCGobierno >>>

#EstadoDeBajaCalifornia.- It is a human right of every family to enjoy decent and dignified housing, therefore, the Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, instructed the coordination with the Federal Government so that the people affected by the landslides, are beneficiaries of the Social Housing Program of the Federal Government.

The head of the General Secretariat of Government (SGG), Catalino Zavala Márquez, on behalf of the Governor, signed the agreement that frames and coordinates the efforts of the various agencies involved in guaranteeing the property certainty of those affected by the landslides in Tijuana.

«This is an issue, a great social impact and we know the sensitivity of the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and our Governor Marina del Pilar, but we have to push hard and be ready, if we want to solve we have to work hand in hand to give security to the families, with the support of the President,» said Zavala Márquez.

Edna Elena Vega Rangel, Undersecretary of Territorial Planning of the Ministry of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (SEDATU), visited the offices of the SGG in Tijuana, to celebrate the agreement that establishes the mechanisms of collaboration, coordination and agreement, to provide a new home to 93 beneficiaries of the Social Housing Program.
