#Tijuana, #B.C.- Mayoress Montserrat Caballero Ramirez congratulated the investors who had the vision and confidence to attract with the Peninsula Shopping Center, a new social and economic development thanks to the service, quality, variety and comfort found in its facilities.

In the presence of the State Governor, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, the Mayor announced the inclusion of this new building in the binational San Diego-Tijuana World Design Capital (WDC) project for 2024, a space that its general director, Hector Miguel Padilla Ojeda revealed is in the international global finals for best design.

During the inauguration of Peninsula, where the Liverpool store opened a few months ago, Caballero Ramirez highlighted the generation of temporary and permanent jobs, mostly taken advantage of by the youth and working class that work in this new shopping center that is born in Tijuana and offers new employment opportunities for everyone.

«As the city government, we are very proud of this project that we are inaugurating today, which will serve communities that do not have adequate and competitive offers of services, commerce and recreation,» she said.
