#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- As was the case in 2022, this year there will be no increase in property tax payments in San Miguel de Allende.

This was assured by the municipal president, Mauricio Trejo, after the H. Congress of the State of Guanajuato approved the proposed Revenue Law 2023 for the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende.

«Just like last year, we did not present any increase to the predial. In the Revenue Law of 2022, this year that is about to conclude, there was no increase in property taxes and in the Revenue Law that was just approved today by the State Congress, there is also no increase in property taxes during the course of 2023. With this we are complying with you in not raising your property tax,» mentioned Treo Pureco on his official social networks.

The mayor said that, as he proposed before taking office and fulfilled in his first year of government, San Miguel de Allende will not raise the property tax payment.

Mauricio Trejo explained that not only was an increase ruled out, but that this means that San Miguel residents will pay less than any other Guanajuato residents where adjustments were made to this annual taxation.
