In Baja California, first economic support is delivered to indigenous community in Tijuana / @Montserrat4T @gobtijuanamx >>>

#Tijuana, #B.C.- It is inevitable to see them and not feel nostalgia, but, above all, pride in knowing where I come from, because I am also an indigenous woman, an Oaxacan woman who to this day, fights against racism, classism, discrimination and even a little misogyny, emphasized Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez.

During the first delivery of 67 loans from the Fondos Tijuana Trust Fund to the indigenous community, the Mayor assured that a great step was taken between words and deeds, as the programs Impulso al Autoempleo, Fortalecimiento a la Micro y Pequeña Empresa, and Emprende tu Futuro were disseminated to all sectors.

In the presence of the merchants, most of whom make and sell their handicrafts as their way of life, Caballero Ramírez emphasized that during 2022, the nearly 42 million pesos destined to support citizens will translate into millions of dreams through effort and hope.

In the central courtyard of the municipal palace, the mayor made it very clear that work, courage and love for the city, is how she has moved forward, and stressed that no one should ever make them feel less, because Tijuana for everyone, is for everyone.
