#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- In order to avoid accidents during the holiday season, on the instructions of Mayor Santiago Taboada, courses, talks and training were conducted so that Benito Juarez residents take measures to ensure that Christmas celebrations are carried out without risks, in addition to safeguarding the assets of those who go on vacation.

Likewise, the Mayor’s Office of Benito Juarez urges the population to take into account the following recommendations:

• Use Christmas lights and series preferably led type, to avoid overheating.
• Do not overload the contacts.
• Turn off lights and candles completely before going to bed or if there will be no one at home.
• Keep the kitchen ventilated and prevent children from playing in this area.
• Check the gas valves of ovens and grills to avoid leaks.
• If the Christmas tree is natural, verify that it is not dry and with fallen tips, since it is potentially flammable.

In this sense, a special course for the maintenance of electrical and gas installations will be held today, due to the high number of people going on vacation.
