PC municipal of Boca del Río, in Veracruz, attends to damages caused by the passage of Cold Front 19 / @JM_UNANUE @_BocadelRio >>>

#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- Prior to and during the impact of the Cold Front 19 in the territory of Boca del Río, the Municipal Civil Protection System headed by Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, gave recommendations and remained attentive to citizens’ calls.

Jorge Roberto Rojas Hernandez, Director of Municipal Civil Protection, said that despite the presence of north wind gusts above 100 kilometers per hour, so far, only minor affectations have been reported, which have been attended in a timely manner.

«We have 23 attentions, which include falling trees, falling poles, detachment of sheets, detachment of advertising canvas and the report of a stationary gas tank that suffered an affectation. It is important to emphasize that no people were injured».

In spite of this, the Municipal Task Force continues to participate in the attention of the people of Boca; the Department of Government, Public Lighting, Urban Maintenance, Municipal Transit, Civil Protection, Municipal Police, City Fire Department, Naval Police, National Guard and the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).

The head of Civil Protection of Boca del Rio, emphasized that the Municipal Civil Protection System remains in Gray Alert and attentive during the night, early morning and early hours of this Saturday, as the north wind will continue.
