#EstadoDeGuerrero.- As a result of the strategy and work in close coordination to combat insecurity, the state of Guerrero remains in ninth place nationally in the rate per 100,000 inhabitants for the criminal incidence of intentional homicides, said Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda at the Table for the Construction of Peace, where she recognized the commitment of the institutions of the three levels of government to improve the conditions of social welfare of the people of Guerrero during this year 2022.

According to the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System, at the end of this year, the southern state remains in the ninth place in the national ranking in the crime of intentional homicides, which is due to the containment with a downward trend in high-impact crimes, derived from the new security strategy that has been implemented under close coordination with civilian, military and naval agencies.

In the daily session of the Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace, Governor Evelyn Salgado, recognized the elements that have participated in the security work and the operations deployed in each of the regions and seasons of high tourist influx, guaranteeing the safety of the people of Guerrero and visitors.

During this work table, the state governor reviewed crime indicators and followed up on each of the crime incidents registered in the state to strengthen agreements and improve security conditions in the state, so far this winter holiday season and in the proximity of the Fireworks Gala in Acapulco and the various destinations offered by the state to tourists.
