Closure of carpentry training for Red Móvil’s groups in Celaya, Guanajuato / @jmendozamarquez @municipiocelaya >>>

#Celaya, #Gto.- In compliance with the Annual Training Program for the Red Móvil – Salud y Bienestar Comunitario program, a carpentry workshop was held in the communities of La Aurora and San José de Mendoza last December.

With a duration of 24 hours, 27 members of the community development group acquired knowledge, skills, abilities and attitudes related to carpentry.

Some of the topics that were developed during this training were:

• Measuring elements.
• Safety and hygiene measures.
• Operation of manual and electric machinery.
• Types of wood.
• Portrait holders, benches, trays, chopping boards, Christmas ornaments and napkin holders are some of the gifts that people learned to make in this workshop.

The workshop was taught by José Maximino Gámez Silva and Ofelia Jiménez Gutiérrez, personnel from the State Training Institute (IECA).

The promoter of the group: Adriana González Hernández, mentioned that this workshop was very pleasant for the people because they elaborated works that they use daily at home, without having to pay for them, since IECA and the Municipal DIF System collaborated with the material that was used.
