#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- During 2022, the Municipal Government consolidated its efforts to improve the quality of life of San Miguel’s women.

Through the Instituto Municipal de Atención a la Mujer (IMAM), this sector of the Sanmiguelense population was prioritized by the Municipality, by ensuring their well-being, raising their quality of life and offering the necessary tools and support to provide them with an environment of peace and tranquility.

«I want to reiterate the commitment of this Administration headed by Mr. Mauricio (Trejo) to fight, protect, help and give them a better quality of life to the women of San Miguel, through the Municipal Institute of Attention to Women. Something that really catches my attention and that pleased me very much is to see that this institute has been transformed into a family, a family where all the women feel supported. This is the mayor’s commitment to the women of San Miguel,» said trustee Faviola Correa, representing municipal president Mauricio Trejo, at IMAM’s report on the work carried out during 2022.

In compliance with the public policy of President Mauricio Trejo, the Municipal Institute of Attention to Women, carried out its work program with activities programmed according to the needs of Sanmiguelense women; the current diagnosis was used to address violence in rural communities, actions were generated to make violence against women visible within families, the hours of service were extended to every day of the week.
