#EstadoDeQuerétaro.- Governor Mauricio Kuri González, accompanied by the Secretary of Sustainable Development, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, visited several establishments that benefited from the resources of the Program to Support Projects for the Installation of Photovoltaic Systems, which allocated 9.6 million pesos to support micro-enterprises installed in the state, and promote actions for the decarbonization of the economy.

There, he spoke with the owners of a coffee shop, who shared that the resources they received from the Fund for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development in Querétaro were used to install seven solar panels, which will generate savings in the electricity bill, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the environment.

This program has the participation of SEDESU and the Energy Cluster of Querétaro, and was designed to provide resources for the installation of photovoltaic systems in companies, and to generate a new business culture in the use of renewable energies.

Within the scope of the program, the generation of 331 MW is sought, which means that 535.53 tons of CO2 will cease to be generated annually, in addition to an approximate saving of 4.9 million pesos in electricity consumption costs for the beneficiaries.
