#BocaDelRío, #Ver.- The Boca del Río Philharmonic String Orchestra, Mariachi music, as well as a fireworks show were performed.

This Thursday the Mayor of Boca del Río, Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal, headed the Commemorative Ceremony of the 35th Anniversary as a city of Boca del Río, an event held in front of more than a thousand attendees at the Civic Plaza of the Municipal Palace.

Taking up a bit of history, the Mayor recalled that on January 26, 1988 Boca del Río acquired the status of City, being a milestone so that through time its growth was making a difference in the state.

«When in my government we say that we are the best of Veracruz, we do it thinking about this legacy and the events that built our identity so that Boca del Río is recognized as a power of development in the southeast of Mexico,» emphasized Mayor Juan Manuel Unánue Abascal.

Likewise, the Mayor expressed that in order to talk about the thriving city that is Boca del Río, it is obligatory to honor the history of the first settlers, who, with their character, determination, but above all thanks to their talent, built a prosperous land.
