#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- As health is one of its priorities, the Municipal Administration improved the visual health of Sanmiguelenses with the delivery of ophthalmic lenses.

Through the municipal program «Visual Health» granted by the Department of Welfare and Social Development in conjunction with the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF), 1,200 Sanmiguelenses were supported so that they can now enjoy a better quality of life by regaining the fullness of their sense of sight.

At the event, the director of the Municipal DIF, Brisa Calderón, said: «we are trying to unite all the strengths of the (municipal) departments to reach the most remote corners. This delivery is 100 % free of charge, so that you feel loved, that you feel that the president (Mauricio Trejo) is close to you and this is the way to say that his team is close to you».

Also benefited were several municipal employees from the areas of cleaning and maintenance of natural areas, who dedicate their time, work and effort to keep clean all public spaces of the municipal territory.
