#Atizapán, #Edoméx.- In the framework of the 106th Anniversary of the Promulgation of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, the City Council of Atizapán de Zaragoza presented the Bando Municipal 2023, a document to which were added, among others, sections that promote the care and protection of animals.

In the presentation of the official document, the Municipal President, Pedro Rodríguez Villegas, accompanied by the Federal Deputy for District 14, Ana María Balderas Trejo, and the Federal Deputy for District 15, Carlos Madrazo Limón, as well as the Members of the City Council, emphasized that the Administration he leads, has a clear course.

«Today, with the unveiling and promulgation of our Bando Municipal as a fundamental instrument between the authorities and the citizens, we have a clear course to follow.

One of the main changes made to the Bando Municipal for its 2023 edition, was in Article 62, with section 62 BIS, which mentions that the Municipal Coordination of Civil Protection, Firefighters and Environment, within the scope of its powers, may protect animals, provide them with attention, assistance, aid, good treatment, watch over their natural development, health and prevent them from mistreatment, cruelty and suffering.
