#SEP.- The Secretary of Public Education (SEP), Leticia Ramírez Amaya, highlighted the coordination that exists in the educational community to consolidate the Study Plans for Basic Education and strengthen the way in which education is promoted in the country.

At the head of two meetings with members of educational communities in the state of Yucatan, and accompanied by the local Secretary of Education, Liborio Vidal Aguilar, the head of the SEP emphasized that, with an education that has the community as its axis, it is possible to find a way to live well and in harmony.

Ramírez Amaya assured that the educational achievement of girls, boys, adolescents and young people can be reached with the coordination of all authorities, governors, governors and heads of education. «If we all join forces towards the same end, we can achieve our goal,» he said.

Regarding the dignity of the teaching profession, he said that without the vocation of service and dedication of the country’s teachers, no educational task can be carried out, so as a society we must recognize the effort they make.
