#SEP.- The Ministries of Public Education (SEP) and Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), through the National Coordination of Benito Juarez Welfare Scholarships (CNBBBJ) and Banco del Bienestar, respectively, announce the beginning of the first delivery of two million cards for scholarship recipients to receive support through a bank account.

By June, the CNBBBJ and Banco del Bienestar plan to deliver more than six million cards for the Basic, Middle and Higher Education programs, through which scholarship recipients will receive their next payments in a fast, secure and transparent manner.

With this action, the government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador fulfills the objective of promoting financial inclusion and offering services to the beneficiary population that previously did not have access to a banking network.

With this, scholarship recipients now have a bank account and can access their funds at the ATMs of the more than 1,400 Banco del Bienestar branches throughout the country.
