#SECTUR.- Accompanied by the governor of Hidalgo, Julio Menchaca Salazar; the Secretary of Tourism of Hidalgo, Elizabeth Quintanar Gómez; and the municipal president of Pachuca, Sergio Baños Rubio; the head of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) indicated that this site stands out for its characteristic urban structure of small streets and alleys.

Commenting to the attendees that, together with the government of the state of Sonora headed by Alfonso Durazo Montaño, the Guinness Record for the World’s Largest Carne Asada was recently broken, Torruco Marqués, with the support of Governor Julio Menchaca and the authorities present, invited those present to break the Guinness Record with the World’s Largest Horseback Ride, and thus, put the eyes of the world on this beautiful capital of the state of Hidalgo.

He pointed out that Mexico’s Magical Neighborhoods program is a way of diversifying the offer of tourist attractions, since through this initiative, each state, whether its capital or any other important city, has a space that combines different elements that make it unique.

Torruco Marqués pointed out that the purpose of the Magic Neighborhoods is to discover the «spirit» and essence of a city, where the passage of time has forged customs and legends, seasoned with a particular gastronomy; they can also be a starting point for visiting other nearby destinations, such as the Magic Towns, which is in line with the trends that emerged after the pandemic, where tourists opt for outdoor sites, in contact with nature, communities, traditions and customs.
