#SEP.- In order to identify the best educational skills of teachers of Basic and Higher Secondary Education, implemented in indigenous peoples and communities, Afro-Mexican, migrants and agricultural laborers, the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) through the Unit of the System for the Career of Teachers (Usicamm), publishes the criteria for participation in the process of recognition of educational practice 2023 https://bit.ly/3SP3plk

Teachers who have recovered the learning of children and adolescents will also be recognized, and will be added to the salary increase, basification and follow-up of the steps for admission and promotion carried out by Usicamm.

The deadline to register proposals is April 21, through the web page http://bit.ly/3TGWNEL, while the review and evaluation of works will take place from April 24 to July 14, and the results will be published on August 4, 2023.

In presenting the details of the process, the head of the Usicamm, Adela Piña Bernal, explained that it consists of five stages: a) publication of the call; b) receipt of narratives and evidence; c) review and evaluation of narratives and evidence; d) publication of results and, e) public event for the award ceremony.

She informed that a diploma and a medal will also be awarded, and explained that the elements for selecting teachers will be based on a narrative of between three and five pages, where the participant will describe the educational practice or pedagogical strategy implemented, including evidence.
