#EstadoDeQuerétaro.- The governor, Mauricio Kuri Gonzalez, acknowledged that it is necessary to work hand in hand with citizens to advance in security and the defense of Queretaro, this during the presentation of the new image of the State Police (POES), which seeks to be closer to Queretaro’s citizens.

«I would like to ask everyone for their trust and collaboration in transmitting our message, we have a strategy, we have professional police forces; we will be with you whenever you need us, because with you we are moving forward in the security and defense of Queretaro,» he said.

With the presence of the Executive Secretary of the National Security Council, Clara Luz Flores Carrales, Kuri González assured that for his administration the issue of security is a priority, which is why they are working in accordance with the law in actions focused on solving community problems based on a new model of proximity policing and social crime prevention based on civic and social reintegration.

«Applying the civic law and confronting the offender at the moment of the crime is the challenge facing the police; therefore, the strategy now requires strengthening the union with society, that the police be present and close to the citizens, that their work be focused on dialogue with the people of the communities, with the areas where risks are detected and that the response be more effective and prompt when their services are required,» he said.
