Pegaso» program checks motorcyclists for the safety of citizens in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico / @TonyRodriguezMX @Gob_Tlalne >>>>

#Tlalnepantla, #Edoméx.-  At a press conference, Mayor Marco Antonio Rodríguez Hurtado reported that through the «Pegaso» program, more than 935 motorbikes have been sent to the corral; 500 did not have license plates; 260 were sent because their driver did not have a license, and the rest were detained for not having a license plate or the corresponding accreditation.

The aim of this program is not to go out and «annoy the citizen», what we want is for people to know that we will continue to work on checking all motorbikes to lower crime rates,» said Tony Rodriguez.

«In other cities they are taking measures on this same action and, I want to tell them, that we will not lower these security operations».

Rodriguez Hurtado pointed out that crime rates have dropped in areas where crime is most prevalent, due to the ease with which motorbikes travel, which have to do with drug dealing and robbery of pedestrians.

The Mayor of Tlalnepantla concluded by saying: «Please have all the necessary documents at hand to prove that you have no doubts about the ownership of your motorbikes».
